I'm 20 although soon to be 21.

When did you start drawing?
As soon as my parents put a crayon in my hand.

Which hand do you use for drawing?
My right hand.

Which is easier to draw - male or female?
The females are easier for me, and I tend to draw them more often but I do draw males as well.

Which is easier to draw - long hair or short hair?
Longer hair is easier, it's easier to make it flow.

Is it easier to draw the head facing towards the right or the left?
Facing the right.

Is it easier to draw the side view of the face or the front view?
I tend to draw a 3/4 perspective, but if I had to choose it would be front view.

What do you have problems in drawing
A lot actually, like a background for one, correct anatomy, realism and the like. I gotta work on that.

What do you like to draw?
I really like to draw people and clothing mostly, or illustrating things from books, or making comics of Star Trek. XP

Are you a traditional artist or a digital artist?
I consider myself mostly a traditional artist but I can and do use other digital mediums, such as Photoshop, to draw and color.

Where do you start drawing from?
I tend to do a sketch of the whole figure before fixing the whole thing up, starting from the head, usually the face.

What is your drawing habit that you are aware of?
Well like I just said I making a rough outline and then go over it and fix it up. Then I'll ink it with pens and either color it in with pencils or pens or I'll scan and color it on photoshop.

Any tips for coloring/shading?
I'd say to not go crazy with the colors, choose a few and then stick to shades of those to color the whole image. As for shading, just remember where you determine your light source to be and shade in the opposite direction.

How long does it take to finish a piece of art?
I usually take longer then the average person. It takes me about an hour to be satisfied with the line art and then a few more for coloring purposes. I may not end up coloring the whole image in a day if I'm using a digital medium.

What music do you listen to while you draw?
Usually I'll have the radio tuned to NC State's college radio station, WKNC 88.1.

How long does it take you to come up with an idea?
Well some days I'm inspired and it'll come quickly, other days I need more time.

Your favorite drawing utensils?
The tried and true pencil and paper.

Your favorite color/the color that you use a lot?
I think I tend to use a lot of red just cause it's the most vibrant color. My favorite color though is pink.

Your favorite style(s)?
I like CLAMP's old style of drawing a lot, as well as Ai Yazawa's.

What kind of artist are you aiming for?
I want to be able to create really intricate characters and be able to illustrate interesting sections of stories.
